A total of 1,520 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2019 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. More than 760 students named to President's List for Spring 2019
Nearly 770 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the President's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester. CCU has a student body of 10,600. More than 2,000 students were also named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, which means more than 21 percent of the student body earned recognition on either the Dean's List or the President's List. Of those on the President's List, 141 are freshmen, 177 are sophomores, 166 are juniors and 285 are seniors.

ESU to Graduate 1,187 Students at Three Commencement Exercises
A total of 1,187 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at separate commencement exercises for undergraduate and graduate students on May 10 and May 11. ESU will hold three graduation ceremonies: one for graduate students on Friday, May 10 at 6:45 p.m. and two ceremonies for undergraduate students on Saturday, May 11. The undergraduate ceremonies will take place at 8:45 a.m. (College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education) and at 1:15 p.m. (College of Business and Management and College of Health Sciences). All three ceremonies will be held in Koehler Fieldhouse. A total of 995 bachelor's degrees, 188 master's degrees and four doctoral degrees will be awarded.

The Department of Communication Design held its Senior Student Awards Sunday, April 14, which included the grand opening of the Senior Student Showcase at the Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery. More than 170 Kutztown University students have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as part of the December 2018 class. To be inducted at KU, students must attend an orientation, a three-hour leadership training seminar, three success networking team meetings and three speaker broadcasts featuring leading figures delivering success-related messages to members.

Newly established Honors College at CCU has more than 700 students
The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies was established at Coastal Carolina University on Oct. 12, and the 700 students who had been accepted into the University's honors program are now the first students housed in the new college. The HTC Honors College and Center for Interdisciplinary Studies will feature many new initiatives and a revised curriculum. It will support students who have ties to majors and departments across campus: from honors students to interdisciplinary studies students, who build their own, innovative academic majors. In addition, the college will continue to support and advise undeclared first-year students as they select and transition into their major.
